The 22.45 London Marylebone to Manchester Piccadilly train on 3rd September 1966 was hauled from Leicester Central to Sheffield Victoria by English Electric Type 3 diesel D6800, which relieved Stanier Class 5 44984 that had brought the train from London Marylebone. (CH:16465)
