DESCRIPTION:Another welcome return by our friend Jim Summers who will be telling us about the construction and operation of the lines through Glasgow Central Low Level – one of which\, between Rutherglen and Partick\, now forms the core of the present-day Argyle Line. \nThe low level platforms seen in May 1981\, just under two years after re-opening.. \nThe adjacent\, but abandoned\, second island platform nowadays features in the popular Glasgow Central undercroft tour\, run by Network Rail. \n  \nNote that this is a Saturday afternoon meeting.
