SLF 381 Transferred to Departmental service as DB975184. Preserved at Mid Hants, Railway. Disposed of to Knights Rail Services, Eastleigh Works for asbestos removal and scrapping c2010.
SLF 394 Preserved at Strathspey Railway. Moved to Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. Scrapped on site at Shottle 2021.
SLF 398 Preserved at Bluebell Railway 1974.  Left the Bluebell Railway 12/2022 and subsequently scrapped, possibly at A1 Metal Recycling, Highland Avenue, Wokingham, Berkshire. Further information about its disposal would be welcomed.

SLT(T) 624 Preserved at Didcot Railway Centre. Moved to storage at Victoria Coal Yard, Norwich, Norfolk 16/9/77, then to North Norfolk Railway 12/78, believed to have been broken up on site at Weybourne.
TK 1307 Originally numbered 16243. Transferred to Departmental stock as DM395812. Preserved at Steamtown Railway Centre / West Coast Railway Company, Carnforth. Body dismantled 2011.  Underframe retained until 2021 when scrapped either on site or elsewhere.
TK 1428 Originally numbered 14256. Transferred to Departmental stock as DM395798. Preserved at Northampton & Lamport Railway, broken up c2004.
CK 3751 Originally numbered 9389. Transferred to Departmental stock as DM395802. Preserved at Ystywth Valley Railway, Llanilar, broken up c2008.
CK 3820 Originally numbered 15509. Transferred to Departmental stock as DM395815. Preserved at Llangollen Railway. Body dismantled 11/2023. Underframe retained.
BTK 5727 Transferred to Departmental stock as DM395895. Preserved at East Lancashire Railway. Bodywork scrapped. Chassis broken up c2009.
BCK 6667 Originally numbered 17728. Transferred to Departmental stock as DM395695. Disposed for scrap to Vic Berry, Leicester. Body sold to A. Piggot, Leicester for use as a tool store. Subsequently scrapped.
BCK 6701 Originally numbered 9844. Transferred to Departmental stock as KDM395844, then to Internal User stock as 024793. Preserved at East Lancashire Railway, body broken up on site at East Lancashire Railway followed later by the chassis. The bogies and two sections of the chassis containing the centre castings were moved to the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway.
BCK 6839 Transferred to Departmental service as DS70244. Preserved at Avon Valley Railway. Body removed and chassis used as wagon which in turn broken up 2011.
BCK 6840 Transferred to Departmental stock as DS70246. Disposed of for scrap to Marple & Gillott, Attercliffe, Sheffield 1982. Acquired for preservation by William Smith (Wakefield) and stored at Horbury Station Goods Yard. Vandalised and broken up,
BCK 6869 Transferred to Departmental stock as DS70245. Acquired for preservation by William Smith (Wakefield) and stored at Woking. Vandalised and broken up on site.
RFO 7571 Body grounded at Parkfields School Derby to provide temporary accommodation. Preserved at Midland Railway-Butterley 1975 and used as Cafeteria. Broken up on site 1987.
TO 7629 Originally numbered 1805. Transferred to Departmental stock as DM395562. Preserved by Resco Railways and moved to Nene Valley Railway 1978. Reported to have left the Nene Valley Railway 1979, possibly moving to Snailwell for scrap. Does anyone know what became of this carriage?
TO 7785 Originally numbered 4650. Transferred to Departmental Stock as KDM395377, then to Internal User stock as 024791. Preserved at East Lancashire Railway, broken up c2002.
TO 7816 Originally numbered 5861. Transferred to Departmental stock as KDM395519. Preserved at Midland Railway Centre, body broken up 1992, chassis remains.
TO 8000 Originally numbered 5806. Converted into Steam Heat Generator Van DM44404. Preserved at East Lancashire Railway, broken up c1995

TO 9242 Converted to Exhibition Van 38741. Acquired for preservation by Mid Hants Railway and stored at Basingstoke were damaged by fire. Broken up on site at Basingstoke by H. T. Cartwright, Tipton, West Midlands 5/83.

T 10959 Originally numbered 15486. Transferred to Departmental Stock as Overhead Line Maintenance Workshop Coach ADM395645. Used as part of a restaurant complex at Dunkleys, former Castle Ashby station, Northamptonshire, broken up on site c2013.
TK 13045 Preserved at Severn Valley Railway, arrived 9/12/72, broken up 1980.
BT 20165 Originally numbered 16232. Preserved at Ravenglas & Eskdale Railway, broken up xxxx
TK 26322 Transferred to Departmental Stock as KDM395997. Used at Camelot Theme Park, Charnock Richard, Lancashire (with BR 4624, 4874, 13102, 16020, 26045 & 35497). What then happened to this and the six others is a mystery although some or all may have moved to American Adventure Theme Park, Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Presumed now scrapped. Further clarification welcomed.
