A. R. Adams & Sons, Newport - Ex BR Shunters
Delivered direct to Powell Duffryn Fuels, NCBOE Coed Bach Disposal Point, Kidwelly, September 1969. A reference to D2193 in Mahoney's, Newport in transit in April/May 1970 suggests that it either just had or was about to enter Old Dock Works for painting into a dark green with predominently gren handrails livery. It subsequently went on hire to Coed Ely Coking Plant remaining there until early in 1971 when it is presumed to have moved to Mountain Ash Locomotive Shed, then back to Newport where it was seen in August. A 1961 builders plate was carried initially.
