That Was the Year That Was – 1967

After looking back a century, and then over the last decade, in our last two meetings, for this month’s meeting we split the difference, and are taken back 55 years, to 1967, by excellent photographer (and Watford Branch chairman) Geoff Plumb. This was the penultimate year of regular standard gauge steam on British Railways, and the last year of its working in Southern England, and so was much photographed by Geoff, along with other delights.
