David Shirres will talk to us about hydrogen trains via a Zoom meeting
To meet climate emission targets the world has to wean itself off petroleum. To do so it has been estimated that hydrogen will account for 5 to 15% of the world’s energy supply by 2050. In his presentation David will explain why this nascent hydrogen economy is the key to understanding the need for hydrogen trains. His presentation will also explain the pros and cons of these trains and how they can be supplied with hydrogen. Finally, it will describe the three quite different UK hydrogen train initiatives.
