Visit to Chesterfield
Our visit to Chesterfield attracted 7 members who travelled either via Derby or Sheffield. The weather was kind to us with sunshine keeping us warm.
Although there was not too much freight that day we did have a constant supply of class 222s passing by at regular intervals with the train staff showing off their smart new uniforms. The other regular visitors were the Lime Street to Norwich units passing through.
It was good to see a member from Scunthorpe who joined us. He has become a regular visitor when we visit that side of the country. The sunshine allowed those members taking photographs some excellent photographic conditions and some of their efforts are below. A good day was had by all.
