6 October 2023 ‘An Audience with Professional Photographer – Jack Boskett’
On October 6th 42 Members were present to listen Jack Boskett’s talk, Railways and Royalty
Jack covered assorted subjects including weddings, Cheese rolling, Firemen cooking breakfast on their shovel, and various railways in the countryside.
Jack was commissioned to photograph Class 387 at Cardiff Central, as well as taking pictures of the Balloon Festival, and St Trinian’s recreated. Royal shots included Prince Philip looking out of the Royal Train, the Queen’s Funeral at Westminster Hall. Jack finished his talk by telling us his mother’s advice, always look smart and wear a tie, matching colours co-ordinated outfits.
Jack was given a round of applause and we hope to see him in the future.
