The Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway – Roger Cragg

On 28^th January Roger Cragg talked to us about the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway. The talk was concentrated on the line’s history, its closure and re-birth and the gradual improvements taken on by the volunteers in improving the facilities at the stations including major re-build of Welshpool Raven Square and Llanfair Caereinion. Then we looked at the various locomotives, steam and diesel and finally the coaching stock and freight wagons
