West Midland Branch AGM 2026
RCTS – West Midlands Branch Meeting Report February 16th 2026 – Coventry
On Monday 16th February 2026 we held our AGM followed by two members submissions, Dick Johnson and Pete Chaplin. Dick presented early pictures of preservation on the Welshpool & Llanfair narrow gauge railway. These included scenes when the rails were being lifted through the town of Welshpool up to the railway’s present station at Raven Square followed by detailed images and descriptions of the locos and rolling stock.
These were followed by Peter Chaplin’s submission, a montage of events and personalities including our late friend and historian, Patrick Kingston.
