Branch AGM and Members’ Presentations

Thursday 11th December.  The 2025 AGM was held within our venue, the Scots Guards Club when seven members including the Chairman/Treasurer and Secretary, attended. During his introduction, the Chairman noted long-time Committee Members Ronnie McAdam and Ian Bain have had to step back from office due to health issues during the year. Both were thanked for their valued years of service to the Branch. The Chairman also mentioned a recent new member to the Branch, Chris Hall. The Secretary reported on another successful season of indoor meetings. There was no exhibition attendance this year because of the restriction on accommodation within the Dewars Centre in Perth. The Treasurer reported a reasonable surplus over the previous 12 months, mainly due to a reduction in speaker’s and other meeting expenses,, although there had been less book sales during the year.
