Steam in Yugoslavia

An event in two parts, brought to us by two of our German members…
In the first half, Helmut Dahlhaus presents “Steam in You-no-goslavia 1964 – 1977”, a period when the country developed a reputation of being difficult for railway photography (hence its nickname). But he made several tours to the country, some by car, some by train, before it became impossible, and shows photos from these.

And after the interval, Günter Oczko brings us “Steam in You-could-goslavia, 1987-2014”, a period when things become easier, the once unified Yugoslavia dissolved into seperate countries, and rail photography tours were permitted. Something he took advantage of, to be able to present images from Serbia, Bosnia, Slovenia and Croatia.
To avoid disappointment, don’t leave registration to the last minute.
