Scenes from the 60’s in Colour

This presentation centres on the railway scene from late 1965 to 1967 in the North West, although a few scenes from elsewhere do feature. The emphasis is on the variety of BR steam motive power still around at that time but occasional diesels and various steam types in industrial service also appear. All the pictures were taken with a simple camera which produced reasonable results provided the sun was shining and the subject was not moving very fast, although in other conditions it could be a rather different matter altogether!
