The Phoenix Railway-Photographic Circle

The Phoenix Railway-Photographic Circle is an organisation whose principal aim is to encourage the creation of high-quality, imaginative railway photographs of the contemporary railway scene. In this meeting we will hear about the Circle’s work; how it was formed and how it operates; and the inside story behind the book, “50 Years of Phoenix”, published last year to celebrate the group’s landmark anniversary. Presenters will include Wyn Hobson, founder of the Circle and co-editor of the book.
