GWR "Manor" Class 4-6-0 No. 7828 "Odney Manor" is in very clean condition as it waits in the sidings at Welshpool to take over the down "Cambrian Coast Express" from Paddington to Aberystwyth & Pwllheli (the train dividing into two portions at Machynlleth). The engine is already carrying "Class One" headcode lamps and the train headboard. Saturday 24th August 1963.
