A typical assemblage at Scarborough on a Summer Saturday. On 16 August 1980 a Class 101 dmu leaves the terminus forming the 1208 departure for York. Alongside, 31312 is waiting with the 1230 (SO) to Leicester and 40030 will leave with the 1300 (SO) for Manchester Victoria. Meanwhile, 03089 propels empty stock into the station.
