Locomotive Services Class 47s Nos. 47501 'Craftsman' (now carrying its original number D1944) and 47805 'Roger Hosking MA 1925 - 2013' (D1935) are both working hard as they double-head 1Z32, the 05:35 from Westbury to Scarborough, having just passed King's Sutton station running on time at 08:18 on the morning of Friday 31st July 2020, which became one of the hottest days of the year. Another chance for Watford Branch members to show off your prowess with a camera (but don’t worry about the quality, feel the width!) – stills or videos, film or digital *. Please bring along some 35mm slides or image files on a memory stick or DVD disc and we’ll endeavour to treat everyone to your photographic efforts – any railway related subjects welcome! Branch members will be given priority, visitors are welcome to bring material as well. Festive refreshments will be available at the half-time break.

Please note this is a physical meeting, doors open from 18:30 for 19:00 commencement of proceedings.
