Lancashire Day Ranger
Eight members attended this fixture, six of whom met at Manchester Piccadilly with the Merseyside contingent meeting the rest of the party at Blackpool North.
We left Manchester in bright sunny weather but later in the day the cloud rolled in although it did remain dry.
We travelled to Silverdale [the most northerly location for the day ranger] in order to view what could be seen at Steamtown.
