Visit to Newport & Cardiff
Four Members attended the fixture, the numbers being depleted owing to illness and a cancelled train.
The area is not what it used to be in terms of freight activity and in some way the units were more interesting. Most of the Class 175s were out of action with replacement 153s, 150s and 158s working together with several new 756s and 231s.
