Visit to Stafford
In contrast to the Stafford December fixture the weather was sunny and very cold.
Six members attended and were rewarded by a good deal of freight activity and several interesting workings….
66192 worked the Royal train ECS from Wolverton to Crewe and return; 37884 hauled 68024 & TPE stock to Long Marston for warm storage and a sad farewell was made to 319372 & 319385 as they passed by being hauled by 37800 en route to Sims Group, Newport Docks for scrapping.
