92 Squadron – from rust to renaissance
MKY Milton Keynes Network Rail - The Quadrant: MK, Elder Gate, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, United KingdomThe Battle of Britain Locomotive Society owns and operates ex-British Railways Bulleid ‘Battle of Britain’ class pacific locomotive No.34081 ’92 Squadron’, named after the famous Spitfire squadron based at Biggin Hill during the Battle of Britain in 1940. Kevin Wilkins and Steve Lacey will outline the history, restoration and operation of this historic locomotive.
