After a career in Operational Planning, retired Anglia Train Planning Manager Dave Hepper will be talking on how (and how not) to plan a timetable. But not just timetabling, Dave will also explain how traction and traincrew diagrams resource the timetable, and touch on traincrew rosters too.
A complex subject, but by using examples from the Elizabeth line timetable, where Dave retired after 43 years service, hopefully the myth that timetabling is a ‘Dark Art’ can be dispelled.
