23rd March 2026: Nostalgia of Steam by Chris Pratt
Having being accustomed to talks these days, generally illustrated by Powerpoint or 35mm slides, it was refreshing to see Chris’s collection of cine especially in 16mm. This really was nostalgic, seeing moving steam dating back to 1920 through to preserved steam in the 21st century. A remarkable collection with smooth presentation and no breakdowns as often happened with films breaking etc!
Again another good afternoon out.
