Lineside observation at Bedford Midland station from 17:00. This is the mainline station in Bedford, served by East Midlands Railway and GTR Thameslink services.
An evening with like minded railway enthusiasts watching the railway scene. We expect that many of the new Class 810 units will be in service with EMR by August and there is of course, the regular flow of Class 700 units on the Thameslink services and London NorthWestern Class 150s on the Bedford branch. It is also possible on the evening we will see freight and/or other special workings.
You will need to arrange your own travel to Bedford, and if travelling by train, please ensure you have a valid ticket for the journey you are making.
