A journey on some of the most scenic rails north of the Border commencing with the Royal Border Bridge at Berwick on Tweed via Edinburgh, the Forth Bridge, Glasgow, the West Highland Line to Mallaig, via Skye to Kyle of Lochalsh, Inverness and to finish in sight of Hoy at Thurso. All with steam and taken on Ray’s numerous visits over the border from 1963 to now. The first of a trilogy of Scottish talks.
