Why not join us at the Old Church Rooms this month as we turn our attention to one of the most famous railways in the UK. Nigel Wassell will be taking the floor to celebrate the sesquicentenary of the Settle & Carlisle Railway, with the help of some famous friends, including John Spencer Gilks and Mr E. Bay.
As usual, complimentary tea and coffee will be available, along with our competitively priced KitKats during the interval, while our famous pre-loved bookstall will be open for you to make that last-minute Christmas purchase.
Talking of which, we’ve received an email from a Mrs Trellis of Radyr. She writes to say that she was delighted to discover our famous pre-loved bookstall. She finally found a book she’d been looking for for years – unfortunately, she’d already bought it from us the previous month.
