: To cater for significantly increased passenger numbers over the weekend of the 2018 Great Yarmouth Air Show, a modified timetable was put in place, which included 68004 and 68001 topping-and-tailing a London set all day between Norwich and Yarmouth. : Electric working was introduced on the London-Norwich line in May 1987 and for operational simplicity at Norwich, electric locomotives were kept in the formation of through trains to Yarmouth. : Through trains from Liverpool Street to Yarmouth ran for many years, but after the opening of Crown Point Depot in 1982 were reduced to Summer Saturdays only. These services ran until the end of the Summer 2015 season, with the last working on September 5th 2015. Direct Rail Services handled this traffic latterly and on 8th September 2012, 47828 brings 90005 through Brundall station on the 12.30 (SO) Liverpool Street to Yarmouth. Photo: Alan Jones.

: Although the level of service on the Wherry Lines remains constant throughout the year, traffic levels are comparatively light in the Winter months. : Pairs of Class 153 were not unknown on the Wherry Lines and were part of the operational flexibility offered by the Class. The new ladder junction for the Acle line is is place (and the speed limit has been increased from 15 to 25 mph!) as 153335 and 153306 arrive with the 09.48 Lowestoft to Norwich on April 23rd 2019. : Most of the Leyland Bus-built two-car Class 155s were were reformed into single car class 153s in 1991-92. These were ideal for lighter duties on the Anglia lines and also gave flexibility in strengthening busier workings.
