: The lines from Yarmouth to Acle and Reedham run as two parallel, independent lines from the station to the former Breydon Junction, at which point they diverge. At the end of a very hot Summer Saturday, DRS Class 37s Nos. 37716 and 37405 work their last trip of the day, the 15.55 (SO) Yarmouth to Norwich on the Reedham line. The Acle line can be seen behind. : The view across Breydon Water from the A47 Yarmouth bypass road (formerly the Midland and Great Northern line from Beach Station to join the Lowestoft Line) is delightful. DRS Class 37s Nos. 37405 and 37422 arrive with the 09.06 (SO) from Norwich on 23rd July 2016, having travelled via Reedham. : The connection to Yarmouth Carriage Sidings going off to the right remains in tact (and has even survived the recent resignalling campaign) but is currently out of use. Perhaps the East-West Route might revive its fortunes. In the meantime, Class 153 No. 153306 has left Platform 3 and is crossing over to the Acle line with the 09.17 to Norwich on 23rd July 2016. : The land occupied by the Asda supermarket was formerly Yarmouth goods yard and engine shed, catering for the once significant traffic in and out of the town and the docks. Passenger traffic to Norwich is all that remains, but notwithstanding that, 37422 and 37405 make a fine spectacle (visually and acoustically) as they leave Yarmouth with the 09.47 (SO) non-stop to Norwich on 23rd July 2016. : Platform 4 at Yarmouth has only one regular working each day – 2P24, the 14.36 from Norwich via Acle and 2C23, its return at 15.17 via Reedham.
