Visit to Doncaster

Only six members attended with several regulars being unavailable.

The amount of freight seen was an improvement on the previous October 2023 Doncaster visit although traffic levels continue to disappoint.

In an effort to increase loco recordings a return trip to Retford was undertaken with 91106 on the southbound York – Kings Cross; the party returned aboard Hull Trains 802302. Unfortunately the visit to Retford produced only 3 additional locos but two new class 730s [042 & 043] went in the book.
