RCTS Publications has produced a book based on the Class 31 locomotives built by Brush between 1957-62. This utilises information from the RCTS Database which has been built up over the years from the earliest examples of modern traction up to 2025 and continues to grow as the locomotives life history unfolds.
This book concentrates on just one class of locomotive and offers each locomotive of the fleet from build to final scrapping or the continued life of many of the class. The details show all allocations of each member of the class plus namings and livery changes together with the ownership details of the locomotives. The book is illustrated with colour images of many of the liveries carried by the class from green through to the individual ones developed by owners of some locos.
