Nick Garnham will tell us about an epic journey the first step of which is to board a train at Peterborough. It describes the journey, all by rail, from Peterborough to Beijing in 2019. The trains, the food, the people, and on train life are all illustrated, as are many of the stations and locomotives sighted. The journey uses modern traction, but there is plenty of history along the route as well as a few surprises!
